Thru-Tubing Permanent Inflatable Bridge Plug (TT-PIBP)
The TT-PIBP allows for permanent wellbore isolation in cased or open hole conditions in a live-well deployment condition. The tool comes supplied with a fit-for-purpose chassis to support the varying requirements of running on coiled tubing or snubbing pipe such as circulating, spotting, cement placement etc.

Benefits:
We can test our packers for a V rating as required. However, V3 to V0 ratings require temperature cycling, the temperature changes will change the inflation pressure and ultimately the differential pressure rating of the packer. This means the performance envelop will have a tight temperature range. Please note that Inflatable Packers are not regarded as permanent barrier an usually serve as a base for a cement or alloy plug. The Plug will have a much higher rating than the packer.
Inflatable Packers don’t require a separate anchor mechanism such as slips. The anchoring force is provided by the friction between the packer element and the wellbore wall. Moreover, most of our packer elements have a DuraGripTM cover to provide a metal-to-metal contact and increased friction.
Yes, PIBP is safe to use with bismuth plugs and we have a track record of using them as a base for alloy plugs. We have also developed a special running and setting tool to reduce the required alloy volume.
Yes, you can configure our PIBP to be a cement retainer. The cement retainer kit is available for most types and sizes of PIBP.
Packer elements and seals need to be stored and maintained as per the following guidelines:
• Away from UV light exposures, direct sunlight,
• Avoid deformation/ mechanical damage (avoid stacking seals on top of each other and rubbing seals against each other)
• Avoid radiation and protect products from sources of ionizing radiation.
• The storage room should be clear of ozone, combustion gases and organic vapors (Away from the welding area, etc.)
